5th Day ARIZONA or BUST . . .

Wow New Mexico was more enjoyable than riding through TEXAS argh.  I had heard not to stop in El Paso so I did not and had an awesome nights sleep in a very comfy hotel in New Mexico.  However leaving in the morning tends to be a bit chilly so packed up  my bike and hit the road and decided no more working for me it was all about the ride ride ride today.

I was to meet up with Joan in Mesa today.  I was to call her when I hit Tucson Harley Davidson.  Well the road was taking its toll on me so I decided no more stopping I wanted to get there and settle in for a few days.  I got off  I-10 and called Joan to say I am here now and was at the Tucson HD location – interesting.

I could not wait to settle in at a friends house so I could get out of hotels and stop spending money haha!  But plans change, I was hungry, tierd, and pissed so WHAT DID I DO – shut down and went to Days Inn with a pool and unloaded my bike once again.  I then figured out I left my phone charger at my last hotel, argh, so now have one bar on my phone and feeling out of sorts.

I called my mom, who I am calling twice a day, so she would stop worrying yeah right!  So I went to the pool made a few calls to my gals back at home to check in.  The sun was starting to set and the wind picked up and the water in the pool was way too cold so went back to  my room to work on my post and watch TV.

So this is how my energy is – the TV would not work, my mood was not the best ,and not to happy in this moment.  I then think okay Joyce what is the lesson of truth placed in front of me . . .

You see I took this leap of faith barreling out here to work for a company that I really did not know much about.  Yes I am very spontaneous and no one can tell me anything.  Everyone told me back at home how do you know . . . so many questions but I knew that it was right for me so balls to the walls I go for it.

So the lesson for today was communication for sure.  The communcation issue was up in my face once again.  How was I going to handle it with grace or under fire with pitsols blazing – you know me rebel with a a cause mentality.  I had a bit of a situation that I was not happy about so like a crab, cancer soul, I withdrew and I let my head take over and run every scenario in my head until I can calm myself down and let it go.  Wow it took me about 53 years to learn that have you?  I believe that is why I had been an insomniac for over 30 years because I was afraid to speak my truth.  It is not good to keep your feelings and emotions in now is it?  Hell no!  You have a right to your opinion, it is your duty to speak your truth, however, it is the way in which you communicate effectively is the lesson.  I have had many teachers along the way and they have all said, including Joel Bauer, that when you come from the heart you can never lose.  This is so true and each day it is easier and easier for me.  Wow if I could bottle that and sell it I would be a millionaire for sure!

Communication is key in any relationship and my lesson was to get out of my head, let go of my ego and pride, and communicate from my heart how my feelings were hurt, how I felt a lack of respect and trust, and it now was an integrity issue for me.   Right at that moment I felt so congruent with who I was, my voice totally changed, my heart felt larger than my body, and I was speaking my truth with love.  My conversation totally changed with that person and she understood where I was coming from and she finally communicated how she felt.  We had to laugh together – our walls would have kept us from each other and a great life to share.  So my sista, Joan, thank you for opening up your feelings of truth and that is why I have been placed in your life and vice versa.  It is time to let people in, trust your intuition, step out and into faith, and we are going to rock this world together building an amazing team selling and awesome hot line.  The only way you can go my dear is UP . . .  and know you will soar like the true eagle you are.

So at that very moment, 1 a.m. in the morning, I could breath with a bit of relief and know that I made the right decision to jump into the DesignWrap line and hit the pavement running.  Dear Joan thank you so much for letting me be me, embracing our differences, as we unite for the same purpose in business which is to sell quality products, made here in the USA, being able to create and use my deisgn abilities, and sharing my life lessons with the group using my business expertise.

I feel so blessed to know Joan, Stephanie, and Chrissy girl and will meet the rest of the sales crew in a few days.  I look forward to growing stronger and older with all of you – now vroom vroom!

So now I jump on my motorcycle and have to make my way to Mesa, Arizona.  I hit the Tucson Harley Davidson shop to get my pin, patch, and poker chip and to check out their store.  The Motorcycle Clothes Manager was out so now I did not have to work and enjoyed the showroom and meeting the staff.  This Dealership was very friendly and knew how to make a stranger feel WELCOME, I thank you for that.  I wish they had a grading scale because some HD Dealers definitely need to go back to SALES AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION  101 – I mean serious and do not get me started!

At the Dealer I sat on a bad ass 1200 Sporty that I took a picture on and loved it ~ I may have to buy that model but it has to be the RED – it was smokin HOT.  I would use that tooling around town and when my God Son is old enough, will pass it on to him for his first Harley so need to get cracking.  AntDog will be 16 before you know it!  That kid truly melts my heart when I hear his voice – it is like we are soul connected from many moons ago really!  His brother Vincent, he is a true gem and so wise for his early years – I adore you too with all my heart sweetie!

So it was time to hit the happy trail so was on the road by 1ish I suppose.  Have to say I do not know the time, day, or date for that matter.  I just knew I had to get to Arizona for the first pre rally show on Sunday.

The ride through New Mexico was a breeze so I just sat back, locked my cruise control in, and really did not take many pictures.  There was not much to see off of I-10 and it was nipping so bundled up and made it to Mesa, Arizona mid afternoon.

I got checked into the Mesa Inn, a/k/a Howard Johnsons hotel about 5 miles from where the gang is staying with Joan’s mom and all is well.  I have a pool so will hit that for some r/n/r and try to even out my face from the owl eyes.  Tomorrow need to be on my moto at 6:30 a.m. to pick up the girls so we can head to the rally in Phoenix which is DesignWraps big event which kicks of West World Bike Rally and a dry run for all of us to be together.

It was really chilly and should of put my chaps on but roughed it and my poor little hands felt frost bitten for real.  I could barely feel them it was that cold – what I wuss I have become – not that hard core Chicago Biker Babe any more hehehehe.

So we unload the van and got ourselves moving.  Joan is a pro and knows how it comes together so as she directed us her little worker bees took off running and all was well.  Well I love this part of the party – setting up for tradeshows and using my space planning capabilities.   So I made a corporate decision on how the display should look and Joan gave me her thumbs up.  So Chrissy and I made it happen while Stephanie had to deal with the banking situation and getting us ready to take credit card orders.

The booth looked great and our bikers began to come into the event.  We were the second booth as you walked in so everyone that came into the event had to walk pass us – it was great.  DesignWraps sells a high end quality product so I know the drill they love it but don’t want to spend their money right when they walk in so all good – go play and you will be back I thought – our products rock and once they see the other vendors the women will be back – we have product that you have to have – it is as simple as that.

We were busy all day.  I was on my feet in my motorcycle boots and my dogs were screaming.  I lost my voice because I talked all day – who me?   I left the booth a few times so I could capture the event with my camera and a few quick videos.  Have not downloaded them yet but will.  I promised everyone that I met that they would be posted on my FB page and gave them my card.  I was truly in my element and so very comfortable with everyone.  How cool is that – you see I have been shy in the biker community who knows why but that FEAR is now gone and so dig it.  I met so many great people and some new Chicago friends that just moved to Arizona.  Hey shout out the real estate market is so low, sorry to say, but a great time to buy you baby boomers – your retirement house – now go and do your research before they sell out.

I have passed out at least 100 business cards and tell everyone I meet that will listen about my e-book and the new one being formatted now – Motorcycle Diaries A-Z coming out in the next month or so!  I even met Sydney and Toni in the booth yesterday and asked Sydney to write a chapter in my book.  She will be my most experienced Biker Babe and would love to hear her story about riding back in the day when women did not ride – I believe she will be my pioneering soul and cannot wait to read her stories.  Thanks to her lovely daughter, Toni, who will assist her and keep her feet to the fire for completion with pictures too!  Good Luck Toni on your new position with Amazon you rock girl and know we connected for a reason.  I look forward to getting to know you better in the years to come!

Now the EVENT – OMG is that hard work – the day went great and hope we kicked ass in sales.  I have no idea just sent everyone to the money gals just sold sold sold.  I took pictures of everyone I could that bought their RiderWrap product and they will be seen, as promised, on my facebook page today.

Thank goodness we have a day off today.   We will begin to set up at West World tomorrow and that event starts on Wednesday.  I plan on heading out either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.  If I am going to stop in Vegas to see my N – Nadine Lajoie – who is racing this weekend I will leave  on Thursday.  If not Friday is soon enough to get to LA and then chill until Joel Bauer’s Passion2Profit Event to continue my journey with his mentoring program.

p.s.  A note to self – I need a handheld recording device to put in my pocket because all my creative ideas come to me while riding and say to myself “oh I will remember” is so not true!   Wow I was on fire with all my marketing ideas, branding, etc. other chapters to put in my book, and now could not tell you one of them because I am exhausted haha.  I know they will come back so I will have that recording device in place for the my journey home.

So today is Monday, March 28th, so it has been a full week that I have been gone and have had the time of my life.  Thanks for following me and please drop me a comment so I know you are there.  So many people have said read your posts but how would I know dah – give me a shout out it it is good, bad, or kicking ass heheheh.

YOUR FEARLESS LEADER ~ Joyce Pellegrini

p.s.s.  Doing my first tour with Adventures and Curves to CUBA any takers???  Yes all approved and it is August 12 – 21st, 2011 – I have 5 going so far and joining Mario Nieves and the LAMA riding group.   BE THERE OR BE SQUARE . . .

Stay Tuned . . .

4th Day in Las Cruces, New Mexico

I made it safe and sound but a bit wind blown.   Wow felt like I was truly in the Windy City of Chicago again.  My bike is so loaded down with every bag filled, two lap tops, rain and leather gear and the wind still pushed me from side to side like I was weightless.  I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT FOR REAL.

I decided that it was going to be a riding day and did 688 miles across Texas on I-10 West to push through El Paso into New Mexico.  I decided not to call on any Dealers in Texas until the end of my trip where I will be hanging with my best bud near Dallas for a week and have plenty of time to tour the State at that time.

I was also told it was not a safe place for me to stop anywhere I my bike in El Paso because it would not be there in the morning . . .  dang those bad boys!

My ride was filled with peace and solitude as I reflected on my journey of life.  I guess this ride is my coming out party and stepping into my dream business on two wheels.  You see I always thought that it was all about the tours but it has become so much more.  I find my greatest pleasure in sharing my riding experiences with everyone but when I talk with other women they light up and say “I have always wanted to learn how to ride.”  That is all I need to hear and jump on  my soap box and tell them what are you waiting for – no excuses!

They need to read Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book “EXCUSES BE GONE” for real.  There is only one thing that gets under my skin is to hear would of ~ should of ~ could of ~ and since I am stepping up and out want to bring everyone with me.

My baby brother died fighting hard to beat cancer and swore that I would change my life and live my passion.  However, it really took another six years for me to fully embrace those words.   It really took me to kick myself in the ass and stop making all of the same old excuses, no money, no time, don’t know how, etc.   All it takes it some piss and vinegar, the old saying, and my believing that I CAN DO ANYTHING I PUT MY ENERGY TO . . .   Joel Bauer told our class if you took away TV out of our lives how many hours we would have in the day to put into our passions!  He is absolutely right.  Since I got home from his class in February have not turned on the TV ever since.  If my mom is watching it I close my office door so I do not hear it and not disturbed and totally focused on the task at hand.  How about some time management?

So please my sistas out there life is way to short not to act on those promptings in life.  I see women putting everyone else first and they are last on their list.  It is not being selfish to take care of yourself.  Sorry to say if you do not put you first on that LIST no one else will.  Everyone else thinks of  themselves, hubbies, boyfriends, kids, etc.  If you are not the norm then congratulations you are one of the smart and lucky ladies that live their life in charge.

You see it is all about choices good and bad.  Let me tell you I have had to learn the hard way when my intuition told me to do one thing and I did not listen and went with my pride/ego/heart and ended up paying for that wrong choice.

So being a baby boomer myself and leaving the corporate rat race I am now living my life fully in charge of every decision I make.  So if you want to race sports cars or motorcycles or climb the largest mountain, or go to a third world country and feed the starving children it is time to DO IT.  Do not let anyone else discourage you in any way because most people rather see you just the way you are ~ isn’t that sad.  Tell me what is your deepest passion in life that makes your heart sing?

Everyone told me I should not being doing the trip by myself, something could happen, how can you afford it, it is too dangerous, etc.   Riding is my true life line it makes me who I am and if you do not ride you will never know how this makes you feel.  I have only seen 7 bikes on the road so far but I am sure you will see the pictures shortly on how many will be at the bike rally – now I will be in my element – it will be my first bike rally being a workin girl.  I am sure I will rock it cuz I love to sell sell sell and good at it too.

This trip is my GRAND OPENING into a new life at FULL THROTTLE!  With my zest for life, my heart is truly singing, and every time I turn around there is another biker opportunity in my path.  So f.y.i be careful what you ask for because it may all come to you way too fast – BRING IT ON . . .

It is all about positive energy in and being the magnetic I have heard others talk about AND now living.  I am heavily into energy healing and have learned thru being my own best customer.  I am divinely guided and connect to spirit, GOD FOR ME, and all I do is ask and wait patiently for the next door to open is really is as easy as that but you have to move ~ take action ~ and get a coach or mentor along the way.

No more bull in the china closet for me ha ha ~ I use to break the door down when it closed thinking that is what you were suppose to do but it is not ~ it closed for a reason and now trust in that higher guidance it will come I GUARANTEE IT!

Ladies please GET OFF THE BACK SEAT AND RIDE and would love to hear about your journey too so leave me your words and will reconnect soon!

Thank you JOEL BAUER, my mentor/coach, for teaching us all how to live from TAP ~ TRUTH ~ AUTHENTICITY ~ AND PASSION!  It is the only way to roll.

Signing Out . . .

Day 3 . . . Texas

Dear Friends:

I hit the road around 8 a.m. and heading to New Orleans.

But a funny story that Iwill share.  The night before I was exhausted but needed to eat and craving some healthy food – PLEASE!  So off I go and there was a Sushi/Japanese Restaurant that called my name – directly across from my hotel but on the other side of the I-10.

I found the mall no problem and the food was awesome.  Now it is really dark, my belly full, and now it is late . I head my way back to my little hotel and YES I got lost!  HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?   I turned too soon and thought I was on the frontage road hence I am on I-10 going East ~ I wanted to cry with frustration.

It was so dark and no lights.  I know I rode over water, which took me 12 miles, and I see a WELCOME TO MISSISSIPPI sign.  OMG at first I got so pissed at myself than had to laugh out loud.  I looked at the blessing.  I did not want to lay down after I just ate so I leaned back into my seat and enjoyed the fresh air in my face and took my time.  There were only a few cars on the road so all was well.

So back to my 3rd day or riding sorry!  Once I hit New Orleans I fell in love with the architecture and wish I had a chance to walk through the neighborhoods.  However I know that I will be back so next visit for sure.

I stopped a few times to be sure I was going the right direction but everyone I asked did not live in the area so continued on and was enjoying the ride.
As I went around a corner I came upon a street market and decided to pullover and stretch.  I needed to ask someone instead of getting lost because I had to hit 6 Dealers and make it to Texas yikes!

I asked a young couple, Susie and Kevin, from Pittsburg if they knew where the VooDoo Harley was?  Kevin said they had no idea but he jumped on his phone and called and got me directions – how sweet was he!  As he was making the call he said he wanted to rent a Harley so it was perfect for him to check that out.

Susie stated she wanted to get her endorsement and loved that I was riding!  I told her I just published a book GET OFF THE BACK SEAT AND RIDE! and she loved it.  I ran to the bike to get my card and told her to get her free e-book to inspire her to follow her dream to ride.
We said goodbye and I jumped back on the bike.  I continued riding and came upon several horse and buggies at the park.  I then asked a delivery man if he knew where the Harley shop was.  I thought it was a weird place to have a huge Harley Dealer.  Well dah it was a Motorclothes Shop which made sense and passed it so I turned myself around.  The buildings are so close together and could not find the addresses on the buildings.  I found a parking spot yeah parked and looked up and was at their front door ~ VooDoo Harley Davidson.  Yeah I made it.

VooDoo Harley Davidson shop was awesome and enjoyed meeting the staff.  I will plan a tour for Mardi Gras 2012.  I told Stephanie Bruders, Motorclothes Manager, I would work and assist with the line if interested ~ however I can help increase their sales.   I would bring my biker babes and our group would sport the line in the streets what I blast that would be.  I love the fact that the line can do custom work and they can promote their store with the Savy Thread line.  I have been wearing the line every day and very impressed how comfortable it is even while wearing my helmet.

I was getting my bags tied down and two women were checking  me out so I said HELLO!    They looked surprised and said “that is your bike?”    I said yes come on over.  I asked if they would like to to take a picture with me and they giggled and said YES.  They both looked shy but jumped at the opportunity.

Like Ernie tells the Pink Posse “we are not famous JUST RECOGNIZED”.  ha ha ha

Well Ernie I felt famous today!  So t I was the only bike on the road I guess the locals take the back roads which I would have loved to do but no time.  I will take back roads all the way home though for sure no more I-10 for me.

So the ladies leaned on my bike for a few pictures and we grabbed a gentleman walking buy to take our photos.  Then they asked if they could take one of me by myself and I said of course.  I gave them my card and asked if they would send all the pictures to me via facebook and they said sure.   They were thrilled and it made me happy that they were happy.   So thanks ladies I look forward to reconnecting with you soon.

I never rode down Bourbon Street but there will be a next time for sure.  My mom has been to Mardi Gras and she is 76 ~ you go girl!

Stephanie asked if I was going to New Orleans HD and asked if she would call Mitzi Wille, Manager, and give her a tumbs up about the line and let her know I was going to stop in.

Thanks Stephanie for trying to make the connection but when I got there Mitzi was not in.  However, I met with Meg who was nice enough to let me show her the line and was off and running once again.  On  my way there I pulled over to check my directions because traffic was really crazy and a gentlemen asked if I was lost.  haha I told himI was looking for the HD Dealer and he said follow me.  Thanks Bud he totally went out of his way such hospitality.  Once I jumped off the bike I had to grab his picture and said I was going to post it on FB.  He waved as he hit the street and off I went into the Dealership.
I then decided I had 3 more dealers to hit and it was getting late yikes.  So I called Cajun HD and they said to come on in to show the line.  Once I got there I was told they will only sell licensed HD product, whatever that means.  Well you know me I do not take NO for an answer so asked for the Manager.  I waited and started packing up my samples and Nancy came out.  I  had to ask what the rules of the road were so she explained it is their store policy to only buy from licensed HD vendors WOW!     NEXT . . .

I decided to say bye bye to Louisiana had a great day and it was time to make up some lost time and many miles.
I called Beaumont HD my first stop in Texas heard it was a huge Dealer but the Manager was out for the week.  All good and decided I was finished working for the day. I was going to hit it hard and ride until the sun set.  The sun was bright orange and huge and tried to capture some pics ~ it was spectacular.
So I finally got off the bike at 9 p.m. and 100 miles shy of  San Antonio, Texas.

I decided that tomorrow I was not working at all and needed to enjoy my ride and get through El Paso and reach New Mexico by dark.   So I have about 700 miles to do and cannot wait.
My body is a little sore because the rinky dink hotels I am staying in do not have tubs argh and if they did would not sit in them anyway!
Sure wish my girl was with me, Nauti Nancy, but it may have drove her crazy since I had to make all of my sales calls.  Or she would have loved it just to be riding and hanging out with me.
I definitely know without a doubt I WAS BORN TO RIDE.  You see my dad was a truck driver most of his life so I know it is in my DNA.   However, I could not drive a truck and be stuck behind a wheel but on two wheels it is true bliss my friend.  So I thank the LORD that all is well and will share my prayer of protection that I say many times throughout the day . . .   THANKS LETTY AND CLEARWATER UNITY.
The Light of God Surrounds Me ~ The Love of God Enfolds Me ~ The Presence of God Protects Me ~ The Power of God Watches Over Me ~ Wherever I Am He Is And ALL IS WELL.  AND SO IT IS!

Let me tell you it calms my nerves when people either cut me off, do not see me, tire blow outs, and all the other road issues that may come your way so I will take all the help I can get.  I even found myself talking to my loved ones that have past, Dad, Perry, Nonna, Grandma, Cari girl, etc.  With no GPS and music I was totally quiet and silent reflecting on all kinds of things.  I wish I could have recorded all of my thoughts because this is when I am most creative.  So note to self ~ figure out how to do that on two wheels.

Well I am exhausted and hitting the hay ~ Good Night ~ Sweet Dreams and talk to you tomorrow!

3-22-11 Day 2 ~ Slidell, Louisiana

Today was an awesome day!  I got out of bed at 7 a.m. really late for me but my inner alarm clock came on at 5 a.m. and thought why do I need to get up that early ~ no boot camp and exhausted so took a lil nap and felt great when I got up for the day!  I worked until midnight last night and knew I needed to buy an updated atlas my 1999 was so out dated so digging my new RAND MCNALLY HD for sure!

I went to Pensacola Harley Davidson and met with the sales team and they loved the line ~ it so rocks and so easy to sell ~ I LOVE IT.  I cannot wait for Joan to create new product and see how we can take any logo and create product for our end users.  So be sure to stay tuned for upcoming add ons.  We can do anything and customize head wraps to any logo ~ how cool is that!  We are now working on product for Save The Ta Ta’s.

My trip was steady, quiet, sunny, windy, and felt like I was riding back in the MidWest.  I miss the windy City of Chicago but plan on visiting there for a month in July to celebrate my 54th birthday in CHI TOWN with family, friends, and my favorite boys Vincent and ANTHONY PECORA MY GOD SON!  I try to speak to the boys a few times a week and once on the weekend.  They bring me such joy and the love me so it is so adorable.  I LOVE YOU BOYS!    You too Mark.

I only did 313 miles today but stopped at 6 Harley Dealers.  Of course I got lost but when you are in new territory it is cool because the places you find along the way is worth it all.  I rode downtown  on my way to Eastern Shore Harley Davidson and the houses and trees were spectacular.  I got some great footage of my ride for a few minutes while riding.

The two stores in Alabama I did not have luck with but all good it is not for everyone!   Jumped on my baby and headed to Mississippi.  I have been planning my trip without booking set appointments so I decided to prepare for the day so I can plan since I  need to be in AZ on Friday.   I was able to give Tammy girl, at Mississippi Coast Harley Davidson, a call but she could not meet with me but will follow up when I return.

However, dah I forgot to stop by to get my pin, coin, and patch so I will have to order and have her mail it to me for my collection.  Yes every HD I stop at I am purchasing my trinkets and will put on my vest and chaps.  They are going to look awesome!

I am amazing myself how well I am doing without a GPS.  I have little pieces of paper in my back pocket with my directions mapped out each day.  I am enjoying the ride and basking in our beautiful country.  Even the not so nice places make me reflect how lucky we are that we are so free to move around like we do.  So excited to say that my internal GPS is kicking in and Ms. Schultz, RIP, would be so proud that I am embracing georgraphy at this old age ooppss there it is!  All truth nothing held back JOYCE UN CUT . . .   My friends know I am georgraphically challenged and a Garmen GPS is in my very near future.  Back roads here I come and no more highways for sure.

I love to ride at 45 m.p.h. so I can take in the sights as far as my eyes can see, feel the warm sun on my skin, the wind in my face is like no other, I wish I could say the wind in my hair but got my bucket on since I am travelling alone and most states you HAVE TO boo hooo, and the amazing smells of mother nature in bloom is amazing.

THANK YOU DIANE MARIE for your healing session before I left.  I am no longer coughing, sneezing, and my sinus’ are back to normal AMEN SISTA!

I started feeling fatigue and some brain fog so stopped off when I crossed the Louisiana line and really needed to check my tires.   I never checked them before I left and can see Jimmy G shaking his head now ~ I am so bad.

So I get my quarters out, pull up to the air pump, disrobe because it was so hot in the sun with all my gear on, and could not get the flippin dohiggy on the male part of the tire.  Yes I must be educated and terms and will finally partipate in my HD Garage Parties for sure.  It is time for me to know how to fix my ride unless of course I have a Wing Man for all of my trips.   NO us WOMEN really need to know how our machines operate.  Okay Ladies ~ DEAL?  DEAL!

Well need less to say I could not put air in my tires so filled up my tank and went in for a bottle of water.  I asked where the nearest Harley dealer was and it was right across the street WOW – it was time  to get off the bike for real.

I jumped on my bike for the last time so went to Mike Bruno’s Northshore Harley Davidson and had the service department hook me up.  Thanks GUYS I really appreciate your quick service and NO CHARGE gotta love it.   My spoke wheels are a beatch to get to and you really need a lift so you can get to the source.  I really will have to rethink the white walls ~ NO WAY LOVE THEM ~ so just another accessory that is a must for road trips.

I was able to chat with the staff and met with Stephanie Thornton MotorClothes Manager.  She was heading out of the office but what a great showroom, energy was awesome, they had some ol school bikes which you will see pictures of and it brought me back to Cuba for sure.

Hey a quick shout out I am going to Cuba August 12 – 21.   Did you know they have a Harley Davidson Dealer on the Island?  I did not know since it has been a sore subject and tried not to think of it but now will embrace closing another emotion chapter in my life.  I reconnected with LAMA CUBA last week on facebook.

Thanks Adolfo and Linnette for responding to my facebook frienship and cannot wait to hug and kiss you all.  I have so many fond memories and what a turbulent ride that was ~ always an adventure.  It was a huge lesson that taught me how to love again, to appreciate all that I have, our opportunities are limitless if we apply ourselves, to cherish family, and to learn how to forgive and forget, you must always move forward and seek the blessing in everything that happens.  So my dear friends and family in Cuba our paths will cross once again.  Bringing my crazy biker babes and their hubbies too.   I will have to brush up on my salsa and merenge so get ready!

So I found the perfect hotel right next to the HD dealer so I parked  my baby, got a room, unloaded 6 bags ~ 45 days gotta be prepared office and all ~ and went straight to the pool.   I could not get wet cuz they were cleaning it and too many chemicals so just chilled and enjoyed the sun, peace, and quiet for an hour.

Well my dear friends, family, and followers thank you for letting me share my life on two wheels.  Leave me a comment until tomorrow . . .

Be well and chat soon.

Joyce ~ Your Fearless Leader

3-20-11 Frist Day of AZ/LA Adventure ~ Pensecola, FL

Today is the beginning of a new life for me! You see I have stepped into my final calling using my passion of two wheels to roll forward in my life. After I invested in myself and took Joel Bauer’s ProfitPointMastery 9 Speaker Trainer Class and Passion2Profit 2 day intensive I have never looked back.

All the uncertainty, fear, disbelief, and lack of self confidence in myself just fell away. Joel is right when he told us all when you come from the HEART there is no way but UP! I have been passionate about two wheels since I was 3 years old when my dad, Gino, put me on his tank and took off! I have been drawn to motorcycles ever since. When I hear a set of pipes my head whips around until I can see the person who is riding and would think “one day that will be me”!

So here I am the morning of the 21st in the hotel lobby expressing the ultimate dream of my lifetime. I have launched Adventures and Curves which will be a full motorcycle service business. However, the Universe has brought me DesignWraps a motorcycle head wrap and bling bling aparrel line and will call on all Harley Davidson Dealers in my path travelling cross country. The sky is my limit and if you know me will grab it and living large on my baby!

I got a late start alarm went off at 5 a.m. and hit the snooze but did not wake up again til 7 a.m. so it was perfect. Loaded up the bike so I have clothes for 45 days, two lap tops, Joel’s book How to Pursuade People That Do Not Want To Be Pursuaded – I take no prisoners hehehehe! My workout clothes, 4 weeks of protein powder to be sure I get the right nutrients along the way thanks to Bryan Daskam, my boot camp trainer!

I hit the Veterans Expressway full throttle and was in Crystal River in about 90 minutes! When I say the sign for Perry, Florida 68 miles I had this huge wave of emotion hit my throat and the stingy tears ran down my face . . . You see my baby brother, Perry, did of cancer 7 years ago and could not wait to get to the sign to take a photo and a quick testimonial to him that I was finally following my dream and knew he was with me.

In Chieftan I met PJ, retired FBI agent, and two time vet, so we stopped off in Perry for a quick drink ~ he had ice tea and I had to eat so dang it had to have a burger and fries. mmmmmm I swore that would be my last unhealthy meal on this journey because the rest of the 30 lbs I want off this body is happening on this journey or at least put me on my way to health and wellness physically for the last time!

If you do not know I am a Stress Management Coach using energy and if you would like more info go to website www.PowerWithinInstitute.com which am working on new name TheHealerOnAHarley ~ do you like it? Let me know your thoughts respect your opinion.

Anyway PJ and I are getting to know each other and there was no spoon passing there he talked and talked and listened intently I did! He had a wealth of knowledge and shared some tibits of info from Viet Nam, which no one ever talks about so glad to be able to listen. Wow I hate wars and so not necessary but it is what it is so we will move on.

PJ was heading to Texas, I do not have a GPS on this trip bad move ha ha, so I found my GPS Pink Posse what a blessing. I mapped out my trip did goggle maps to find out it is a 1999 Harley Road atlas and most of the Dealers have moved dummy me! So today I will buy a current map and write my directions on a back side of a business card and tape them to my speedometer now that is a GPS ha ha ha.

The ride was awesome took great pics and videos, lost somewhere in cyber space argh, but here to talk about it. The only issue I had was rolling down route 10 when a semi had to pass us and right next to me has a blow out. I jumped off my seat and let off the throttle as PJ accelerated and was trying to get over while the semi was running up his ass! The truck moved into my path as I went into the left lane and flown pass him. I really wanted to flip him the bird because if he had checked his tires this should never happen but it did and here to tell you about it. As he flew past me, however, I was waiting for the tire pieces to fly or hit me but my dad was a trucker and up in heaven and there is NO WAY IN HELL that he was gonna let his daughter go down like that so they flew over the top of the semin and well over my head so I was DIVINELY GUIDED ~ THANK YOU GOD!

I stopped at Capital HD in Tallahassee and they loved my DesignWrap line and set their account up too so it was a glorious day.

PJ was such a gentlemen he had to switch his route and did not want to do 10 but wanted to assist a pretty lady by herself without a GPS ha ha so he pulled me up to Pensecola Harley Davidson as we said our goodbyes and took a few more pics ~ please lord let them reappear somewhere but I gave him my business card and we will now stay connected on two wheels and via email.

THANKS SANTA with the sparkling blue eyes you set me straight and loved every minute we shared together on two wheels. Until our next adventure mista!

So I will sign off for now and if there are typos let me know because no time to edit, read, and rewrite at this time ~ speaking from the heart ~ love you all and see you on two wheels.

JP’s adventure to Arizona

Well it has been a full moon internet madness night ~ I should know better than to do anything with computers at this time. Downloaded pics and videos and not on my computer or camera GO FIGURE ~ my energy runneth over hehehehehe so I am sure they will appear in due time . . .

So I have ridden so far 468 miles today, set up Tallahassee HD Dealer, and landed safely in Pensecola, FL. Met PJ who took care of me to the HD Dealer in Pensecola for my meeting tomorrow.

Only issue today was riding 70 mph and a semi just had to pass us and had a blow out in one tire. THANK GOD it was on the opposite side of his truck it was a sonic boom and scared the crap out of me! I slowed down and let him fly pass as the rubber pieces flew over my head! BIKERS PLEASE DO NOT EVER TAIL GATE A TRUCK a lesson I will never forget!

RIDE SAFE AND CHAT TOMORROW!

I have been blessed by meeting Laura at KR Management Company and learning that she was going to the finally get her motorcycle endorsement and taking the safety class in a few weeks. Meeting Zazi

I met Zazi Davidson at Bucktown Gym training when I lived in Chicago. Zazi had an amazing body and was a personal trainer. I was working many hours and needed a stress releaser so joined the gym and hired Zazi to get me back into shape working out 5 days a week. Also Bucktown Gym is where my old boyfriend worked out, Thaddeous Hawkins, and Thad was the person that took me to Chicago Harley where I bought my first bike – so very grateful for him in my life – he created the MONSTER. My First Road Trip with LAMA’s to STURGIS!

I started working out in a gym on the West side of Chicago with Mario Nieves and his girlfriend, Dania Tome. Mario was the President of the Latin American Motocycle Association a/k/a LAMA’s. They were a great bunch of men and one woman DANIA. I started to do day trips with them on the weekends around the Chicagoland and Wisconsin area and would end up at the Club on Western Avenue. I truly fell in love with riding and could not get enough. Read the rest of this entry »
