Leaving Texas and Heading Home – storms are brewing . . .

The night before my departure it hailed and rained very very hard so was happy that it was passing through and my morning would be awesome . . .

Well that was true it was cool so had to put on all my gear but was on the road at 7 a.m. and I was hoping that I would miss the morning rush hour traffic.  Well I hit some traffic but it was fine so took 635 East to Route 20 East and was on my way!

I had the road alone other than a few truck here and there and time to reflect my visit with Becster.  It was so great to have quality time with her because usually someone was always around and got a minute here and there.  We worked side by side the entire week which brought back fond memories of us at BT Office Products twenty years ago!  Wow has it been that long?  Yes it has and she would love for me to move to Texas but do not think that is in the cards for me at this time.  However, I will visit often and can do business so I could not ask for a better situation to hang with my little sister!

The ride was bringing me back to reality and how I was going to proceed with my business venture.  I had a quick phone conversation with a new friend and mentor Kathy Eppley and she shared her vision with me that would kick me into gear that I could do easily upon my return.  So I thank you Kathy for your wisdom and swift kick in the pants which she does well.  I will share her website with you because if you  need help she is someone that can assist you in your business growth immediately www.AstoundYourself.com.

I also heard from an old friend Andre McLaurin from Chicago and he loved my posts and said it read like a novel and he could not wait to read my next adventure.  That made my day knowing that someone out there was reading my posts and I will conintue to share my journey and lessons in life.  I have admit this blog has been a very healing tool for me so I can see my progress and not worry about my perfection any longer.  Now that is a lesson to learn thanks Joel – Progress Means Permanence.  I get it now!  Yeah!  I cannot tell you how long my perfection has not worked for me and it keeps you stuck in junk that is so unnecessary.  So go move on it is not about being perfect or you will never move forward it is progress progress progress.  One step at a time for sure!

Well back to the road trip . . .  The sky was cloudy most of my ride through Texas and was going to stop at a few HD’s along the way but knew that the storms were rolling in my path and decided to make some tracks on the road because I had an appointment in Tallahassee Saturday morning and wanted my ride to be short on Saturday.

The sun was trying to push through so was hoping as I continued to ride Eastward the sun would come out soon.  Well it did happen once I entered into Louisiana the sun was pushing through the clouds and decided not to stop at the two dealers in Louisiana either.

I got a few great photos of the sun setting and cannot wait to view them to see if my pink angels appeared again.  I cannot wait to have my conversation with Alania, a very special healer back in Florida, who has become one of my mentors on listening to nature and spirit guides.  If you do not believe in this all good but I do and heard them loud and clear on this trip.

When I hit Mississippi it was time to eat and rejuvenate.  I had noticed that my body was really tierd because Texas all I did was do my blog, download my pictures to facebook and chill with Becky and Luis at night.  My hands really started bothering once my body realized that I stopped riding and the aches and pains began.  I literally could not push off my left hand and so need my massage therapist, Nicole Longwell.  I cannot wait to have her healing hands on my aches and pains for sure!    All I can say is thank GOD for cruise control because even though my lever flew off somewhere on the trip I was still able to use it and so I did 100% of the time.  I need my new handgrips that I have at home because my hands are really feeling the vibration of the bike running at 80 mph for hours and hours at a time.  I even had to stop twice for a red bull which I never drink but was falling asleep behind my handlebars.  I was so warm and covered up my body thought it was time to sleep and caught myself closing my eyes for a few seconds to long dah.

I have to say a red bird flew totally across my path and shut my eyes and held my breath for a second because I thought I was going to hit it and kill it but it sailed right past me and made it to the other side.  I believe red birds are money he he so waiting for that ship to come in.  So will read up on the red bird and advise later!

Well Mississippi was sunny and was able to start taking off some layers but the wind was picking up for sure.  I did not look at the weather but Pete from Florida was keeping an eye on it for me THANKS PETE!  Everytime I stopped he would advise where the storms were brewing and I was heading right into them OH GREAT!  So I said my prayer of protection over and over again saying I know we need the rain but let it  rain in front of me, behind me, but not on me please I need to put in a full day and cannot get stranded out on the road at this time in my journey PLEASE!

Well all my prayers were answered because when I got off of 20E and hoped on 49 for 83 miles, then 98 for 91 miles I had no idea where I was ending up because I did not have my maps out only my sheet of paper that Becky printed for me.  Well the wind was really picking up and the clouds were literally flying by so stopped at a gas station and a young woman got out of her car and said what are you doing on the road?  I aksed where I was and I had made it to Mobile, Alabama and wanted to know how far I was from I10.  She said not far but there were severe storms and a tornado watch in effect and should get off the road.  Well once I stopped the exhaustion settled in and decided would find a little cheap motel and bunker down and would get up early weather permitting at 5 am to be sure I was not late for my morning appointment.

So stopped at a real dive of a hotel that was not worth the $50 I had to pay but was too exhausted to argue so off I went.  The hotel was awful and I parked my bike right in front of my door which had a gap between the jam and door and the wind was howling and the door would move.  I thought there was somewhere knocking at the door so I pushed a chair in front of it and then finally chilled out and watched a movie to relax.  It was about 6:30 pm and too early to sleep so forced myself up and watched a movie which was good but cannot remember for the life of me argh!

I finally decided to call it a night and then the storm hit hard and was pouring cats and dogs as they say!  Wow so glad I got off the bike when I did because I did not have it in me to ride through a storm so all was well and glad I listened to my intuition once again.

I had a decent night sleep from exhaustion.   I got up and took a hot shower, loaded my bike once again for the last time of the trip, wow so  many bags yikes!   I had to turn in my key and remote control to get m y $20 deposit back – are you serious – flea bag I stayed in he he and was raring to go.  The roads were still wet and I knew I needed a new front tire so decided to take it easy and ride carefully.   No hitting the front brakes hard and would sit back and enjoy the ride.  It was early saturday morning and I heard a few bikes roll by but there was no traffic that early – 6 am.  So off I went wearing all my layers of clothing, gloves, headgear, helmet, bandana around my face – it was chilly!

I had to gas up so once I was on my way just settled in and enjoyed the ride.  I think that is where the Desoto National Forest was on 10 so that was enjoyable and did  not remember that on they way out so took alot of pictures because everything was green from the rain.  It was gorgeous.  Again I had to buy a red bull, sorry I yell at my clients that drink that crap but it works.  I do not do any caffeine so had no choice I could not stay awake.  It was like the road was a sleeping pill for me yikes and found myself once again keeping my eyes closed a little to long.  I stopped to gas up again only 1/2 tank was gone but had to wake up and decided to have a good breakfast at the Waffle House.   Well it was okay but usually eat at home but I did not have any water to make my protein drink and too lazy to fetch it all out of my saddle bags so breakfast it was!

So I had 231 miles until I hit Tallahassee so just settled in and enjoyed the ride.  As I hit the Florida border it was clear, sunny, and had to take off another layer of clothing.  I finally took my helmet off too could not stand it any longer.  I felt like I had bugs crawling on my head and it made me itchy.  OMG my hair was a mess but could of cared less after my meeting headwrap off and it felt good to feel the wind hit my face, head, and scalp  was in heaving free at last.

I have to say the ride through Florida is flat and boring but it felt great to be back at home.  I was 168 miles from Tampa so stopped to gas up again and have a quick salad because I knew once I got home I would chill out or maybe even run to the beach and see the sunset if I could make it!

I called mom to let her know I was close and to  be home since I left my house keys at home and Pete was at the beach and said he would take me back to see the sunset so could not wait to put my feet in the sand and feel the gulf run through my toes.

Well I did make it home in time but once I peeled off my clothes and took a hot shower I put my PJ’s on and we all chatted until I jumped up and said no let’s go I want to feel the salt air on my skin.  So off Pete and I went to the beach but it was too late and missed the sunset but the clouds covered it anyway.  It was really windy so I got cold so we chilled for a few minutes and decided we wanted some ice cream and call it a night.  Wow that was a great treat and had a gelato so found a new place on the beach by the house.

I hung out with mom for a few hours and called it a night was exhausted.  However the shape of my baby girl was a mess.  Not only was she extremely dirty but she made so much noice and then I noticed not only did my saddle bag bars crack on the left side half way through the trip now the right side came apart and my bike was horrible sounding.  It was embarrasing when I got off and got gas once I took my helmet off I could hear it yikes – I hope Jimmy can fix it for me.

My baby girl needed some tender loving care by its mechanic and cannot wait for him to take her for a ride to let me know how bad she was.  The engine purrs though and he is the only one that works on her so if there is anything wrong it will be a few adjustments and she will be as good as new!  I am sure of it . . .

I would like to thank you for allowing me to share this journey on two wheels and will keep you abreast of my next adventure.  Oh it will happen in May just not sure on where we will be going.  However, we will be doing Cuba in August, and Winslow, Arizona for their big festival if I can get lodging now at this late time, so that will be a fly and ride trip which will include the Canyons in California for sure.  Stay tuned and check the calendar on the site soon – details to come .

Blessings to you all and be sure to RIDE SAFE.

Your Fearless Leader and ONE BAD B . . .

Made it to Becster’s house yeah safe and sound for a week of girly movies, shopping, and being pampered!

Today is Saturday, April 9th, and reached Becky’s house around 4ish.  My google directions worked out fine and the house was easy to get to so all is well.

Once I got off the bike I was able to chill for a few hours until Luis took us out for dinner. We went to the cigar store and I am going to smoke a little one to celebrate my journey so far. Last time I had a little cigar was with the boys before the wedding in Texas in November of last year ha ha!  When I was in Cuba, 2001 – 2003, I would smoke the chico’s and sip rum.  Smoking a cigar right now is bringing back so many memories and feeling so my different emotions.   I have had so many fun adventures in my life and very blessed to be here telling the stories.   Definitely a few life times worth for sure!

Today’s ride was easy, still windy but not as bad as Arizona and New Mexico for sure. Must admit so far the ride through Texas was quite boring. My amigo, Jimmy, once again has hooked me up with another V-Rod forum buddy that will be my tour guide around town for the week. I really do not want to go far just when the urge arises to hop on my moto and get out to feel the wind in my hair andyeah no helmet law here too!   I would like to hit a few bike nights and show my product and sell sell sell.

I have to say I miss the mountains and the rock formations that Arizona and New Mexico have to offer. It was so bad out and had to get to a hotel so I missed the Grand Canyon too.  I will be back for sure doing tours this year so stay tuned.

I was bummed not getting to hang on the famous corner in Winslow, AZ.  The weekend of the 24th of September has their festival and will plan our tour around that weekend so it will be perfect. Get ready Jimmy we will ride side by side soon I guarantee it!

This journey has been a huge soul connection and know without a shadow of a doubt that this is my true calling to be on two wheels and will press it FULL THROTTLE when I get home.

Are you ready to rumble?

Sunday, April 10, 2011 – I slept a few hours getting use to my new environment and so happy to be with my girl!

I plan on calling on the local HD’s this week, hooking up with Kathy Eppley from my ProfitPointMastery class and will check out the local flavor and bike nights along the way.

I plan on doing back roads all the way home and will leave on Friday so cannot wait for that journey home.

My mom is missing me and my sister Brenda is coming into town on the 29th of April.   They will be heading to Daytona Beach for a week on the beach.  Of course, I will have to hang with my crazy sista and Carol Ann and work along the way.

So much to do and so little time – until then my friend!  One Bad B . . .

p.s  Cuba here we come in August, September will be back to California for a week, then will plan the rest of the year tours out of Florida due to Hurrican.

What a life I am going to have on two wheels and hope you continue to check in and hopefully join us on one of our adventures real soon!

I will post again once I get home!  Many Blessings . . .

OMG the Wind is Killing Me and Did Not Want to Ride Today . . .

Today is Friday, April 8th,  cannot wait to get off the mountain tops and this outrageous wind – it has been very stressful argh!  I wanted to leave at 6 a.m. but heard the wind howling.  So I bunkered down and downloaded my pictures from yesterday and caught up with some phone calls.  I talked to Becky and she said the weather was hot 90 degrees and beautiful in Texas so decided I needed to investigate what I was going to ride in today.  Oh lord the winds were 50 mph and a 40% chance of rain late afternoon and for the next few days so had to get out of dodge immediately – as they say!

I packed up quickly and when I went outside the door it went flying open and hit the side of the wall.  Wow my stuff I put on the bike to open up my saddle bags took off like tumble weeds too.  At that moment I felt true fear well up in me for the first time on this trip.  Wow, am I that tuff to get on my bike?????  I had no choice and needed to gas up so here we go again.  Thank goodness I had 200 lbs of added weight to hold me down and off  I went.  The gas station was across the street and little ladies were being blown over I am not kidding you.  I walked in the gas station to pay for my gas and the girl looked at me like I was crazy and asked are you riding by yourself?  “Yep have no choice” need to get out of town and beat the weather rolling in.  As you know as a biker, when you are on two wheels and have to get to your next destination you do what you have to do!  I know my girls would have not jumped on their bike with those winds.  Knowing them we would probably party the day away girls just  having fun but that is the luxury of riding alone no one to answer to or worry about accept me.  I said my prayer of protection and jumped on my BETSY GIRL and off I went and it was a wild ride for sure.

The night before my trap muscles were so tense that I had shocking pains like thunder bolts which started to give me a headache.  However, today, I finally relaxed and continued to force my neck and traps to relax and just ride the wave.  I also decided to ride until I could not ride any longer so it was going to be a long day.  I enjoy riding at night too and less traffic so wanted to push to Route 287 which would only leave me another 3 hours for tomorrows ride.  Well the sun started to set and wanted to do a quick ride on Route 66 but the girl in the gas station said nothing on that route and with the sun setting she thought it was not a good idea so I listened to her.  I was able to catch a few pictures with the sun setting behind me but it was getting dark fast.  I put on my clear riding glasses and began to follow the trucks a few car lengths behind because I did not want to get another ticket in Texas.  I also wanted to have someone on the road with me and the trucks were my only friend at that time.  I thought I would try to ride til midnight but I prayed again to keep deer away from my path and then I saw a dead deer on the side of the road that looked really fresh and that was the sign to get off at the next stop to end the day on a good note!  So I exited and went to the first hotel in God’s country.  They wanted $80 for the night and it was 9:30 pm already so begged the lady at the desk help a girl out so she gave me the room for $69 so took it.   I reached Amarillo, Texas safely and had a nice bed with my leftover lunch and took a hot bath and hit the hay immediately was exhausted.  Of course had to check in with Jimmy so had a quick conversation with him because he was in Leesburg for the Bike Rally back home.  I told Jimmy to look for the girls that they were all out and about so he said he would!  Jimmy also had someone from the V-Rod group in Texas to tour me around so thats my man always thinking ahead.

I have mastered the wind and was so blessed to not hit any rain on this journey but have top say the dust storms were freaky but held my own.  Wow how empowered I feel and once again pushed through that fear of not moving forward and feel totally fearless!

I will admit that the last 10 years I have been stuck in fear of moving forward.  When did I stop believing in myself and my abilities, why do I listen to others say I cannot do it, just get a job and be like the rest of us, why are you wasting money on learning how to speak professionally, and the list goes on and on!   Well my new professional circle accept me for who I am with no hidden agendas. I now know to rid myself of negative people because what they project is theirs not mine.  Now I get it is is that simple.  If someone keeps you down it is time to let them go whether it is a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, mother, father, sister, you get the picture, let them go because that type of toxicity is just that toxic.

As Joel Bauer teaches his student and lives by his own words of wisdom when you have truth, authenticity, and passion you can do anything you desire.  Thank you Joel Bauer for clearing my energy on all that old crap and I am truly aligned with my purpose in life and will share those gifts with other women and young teens along my path.  I will touch the world one person at a time!

At the Passion2Profit conference many women and men came up to me and said my testimonial and speaking my truth of a death and rebirth experience had inspired them.   They felt my sincerity and how pure my heart was.  Thank you all so much this was the best gift I could have ever received and feel blessed that I had the opportunity to speak my truth on this amazing journey moving forward.

So my dear readers I am exhausted and need to be on the road at 6 a.m.  It is now midnight so I will say goodnight for now and chat with you tomorrow.  Camera is charging so I can upload my photos to FB now and will learn soon how to add pics to my blog stories.

Until then sleep tight . . .  Your One Bad B . . .

On the Road Again . . . Leaving California boo hooo!

Thursday, April 7th, I left California at 6:30 am heading to Texas to hang with Beckster my homie from Chi Town.  The weather was really gloomy and I prayed for the first hour or so no rain no rain please no rain.  When I got to my 2nd gas stop my network card did not work.  I could not believe I was out of money.  I then went inside to use the card and it would not work – so I called a friend for some relief.  I never borrow money from anyone except Pixie when I was in dire need and paid her back immediately.  You know the saying never loan money expecting to get it back but that is not me EVER accept my mom who I take care of always.

I knew I had $150 in my account and then I remembered my direct withdrawals came through for my car insurance and my annuity policies that must of happened SHIT.  So hung around for my girl,
Ellie Mae, to put cash in my account and still was not able to use my debit card at CHEVRON.  I then went to the cash ATM machine and it gave me money so that did not make sense to me but had to hit the road to beat the rain.

It has been a windy trip from the start but the wind was really picking up.  I have to say I dig it because that is how I use to ride in the WINDY CITY of Chicago so it does not frighten me like most bikers.  However it was worse than I remember ever being in Chi Town accept for the winters being 70 degrees below 0 with the wind chill factor now that was outrageous.

I usually stop to get gas when I hit ½ tank because the gas stations are far and few between.  Well I was really low near reserve and got off at the next exit.  When I got to the station it was closed due to no electricity.   I then went across the street and the same thing.  The wind was so bad the entire little town was closed due to no electricity and everyone was looking around like what the hey – we were in a GHOST TOWN.  There were also a few young fellas freaking out because they had no gas afraid they would get stranded on the highway without help so a young lady took their gas can and them in search of a gas station.

I thought I will be okay but need to hit the next stop and two bikers pulled in across the street so went over to introduce myself and maybe ride with them until we departed.  However as I pulled out to cross the stree my windshield flew off from the wind yikes not good now that scared the crap out of me so pulled it toward me and went to say HELLO!  They were looking at the map and having a quick smoke and told them the station was closed as well as the town.  I told them I was sure glad to see them because my windshield fell off my bike due to the wind and Dunkin was nice enough to pull out his tool kit and fix her up.  They were both from Canada enjoying the ride and could not believe I was out there by myself.  I took a few photos of them and asked if I could ride until they hit the Grand Canyon.

I would have loved to join them to tour the Grand Canyon but I literally had no gas so exited the next cash stop so I could fill up my tank boo hooo!  The wind was really blowing hard and the two guys had a hard time keeping their bike straight and upright – I guess I looked the same way but seemed to handle the bike better than both of them – experience is key.

The trucks flying by were all over the road too and would suck you in as they flew past!  Yikes my traps and shoulders were killing me from the tension of it all but had to make it as far as I could because I had a feeling the weather was going to get worse instead of better.

I made it to Winslow, Arizona – just like the song by the Eagles – Take It Easy.  So of course that is all I sang until I reached that destination.  I was frozen and had to sit in the lobby and put my hands on the heater to thaw out until I could take my helmet off.  I was exhausted.  So up to the counter I go and my card still does not work.  At this time I am freaked out no money in my pocket, or debit card, but at least I have a full tank of gas.  How could this be another friend was suppose to put money on my card but it was not there.  I was waiting for my pay for working the show but that did not appear either.  Okay something is wrong . . .

Well I called my one and only favorite mechanic, Jimmy boy, and he hooks me up as usual.  Jimmy you always have my back and love you so much for the help.  I check in and immediately run a hot bath and soak until the stress left my body.  I called Jimmy and chatted for an hour and told him of my adventures.  He is so jealous because I asked him to join me and he is kicking himself for not making it happen.  I told him there will be many trips because I want him to be my Road Captain for Adventures and Curves tours so no worries we will have many trips this year together.

This trip was really needed and me dong it alone is perfect.  I have done some major soul searching, clarity of my processes are in place, business plan is going to be completed this week, I have multiple streams of income going to roll in as all the freedom will continue to roll out.  I am in total alignment with my future at this time and I continue to meet the most amazing people that keeps elevating my game.

Life is so amazing and I am truly blessed and all is well.

I had two hair raising issues that came up that I want to share with you bikers out there.  The first one is the flippin truckers out there – sorry dad – but again I just passed a truck on my right and as I hit the cab of the truck he has a tire blow out and I hear this big pop!  Again ~ are you serious!  This should not be happening so please never follow a trucker and when you pass them pass them and get in front of them as far as you can.  It is hard because they are every where.

My friend PJ that I met on my way to Pensecola the first day told me a story of how he lost one of his best friends and wife from a semi blowing a tire.  They were riding along in a group and a truck passing blew a tire and the tire hit the biker in the chest tossed them both of the bike and the rolled like rag dolls.  So I hope next time you are blazing in and behind trucks get the hell out of their way please.

The second thing that happened today was with the wind comes a bunch of dust.  Well I was covered from head to toe but something got into my left eye and had to immediately pull over because I was riding with one eye open not good!  I could not get it out.  I hit several dust storms that Tommy from Chi town told me to watch out for so I stopped.  However the wind was so strong and the trucks were flying pass me and I could not pick my leg up to put my kickstand down because the wind was blowing me over.  I was petrified I have to say!  I then looked up too the heavens and cursed and screamed “are you flippin kidding me all I ask is for no wind right now” and instantly the wind died down I put my kickstand down and laid back on my bag in total gratitude that my prayers and immediate need was answered.  I got the crap out of my left eye and started my bike and the wind continued on like it never stood still.  OMG I knew right then and there that GOD and my ANGELS truly existed.  I cannot tell you how many times my prayers were answered on this trip and feel totally divinely guided.  I even thanked all my beloved departed and Cari girl who I feel her presence every second of this trip.  Thanks Amber Lee for giving me your moms ashes before I left because she is with me on this trip and cannot part with them.  Cari I know you know how much I miss you girl but know you are holding court as always.  Thanks for having my back!

So until tomorrow my friends  . . .

p.s.  Finally called the bank and since I put the wrong zip code in at the Chevron gas station they thought someone stole my card and cut off my funds.   So had to thank them for taking care of me but they should have called me.   They stated they sent me an email which did me no good at that time and they did leave me a voice mail but no calls registered so there you have it!   Ha Ha live and learn so now they know I am travelling and all is well.   I thanked them because you never know identity theft is at an all time high so be careful out there!

One Bad B . . . signing off!

Tuesday, April 5, 2011, Spending Day with Heather and Riding with Byron . . .

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather at my ProfitPointMastery9 Class and was hoping to get feedback on my  business plan but ended up doing a biofeedback session on her instead.

Now this is something I have not shared with the biker world but this part of my life is also very important to me.  I lost my brother, Perry, to cancer and when he took his last breath I vowed that I would change my life and have been on the natural health and wellness journey ever since.  It takes baby steps to figure it all out but through my self healing and doing hundreds of sessions on  myself have I learned how our mental and emotional health affects our physical body with all our diseases.

I truly believe in Louise Hays work and keep  my nose in her book daily.  I also have had the pleasure of watching A Peaceful Warrior about Dan Millman’s life and that was a huge ah hah moment for me too.  You see when you clean up your thoughts from negative to positive your life will truly change.

I know this firsthand because I use to beat myself up internally and quietly too!  No one ever knew how I felt about myself because my many masks would show confidence, fearless behavior, aggressive in business, etc. but internally I had such negative self talk about not being good enough, pretty, skinny, wealthy, abundant enough and the list goes on and on.

I had a friend one day tell me to shut up and stop my negative self talk, Janet girl I thank you, because it was such a common thing for me and consciously had know idea I was self sabotaging myself.  It was an unconscious bad behavior that needed to stop.  When Janet slapped me in the face with this issue I began to cry and so my journey began.  This happened back in 2001 so let me tell you this was a very long time ago too.   Wow do you do that?   I hope not but if you do they are only thoughts that you can cancel at any time but you need to realize it, thank it, and say NO and think of all the positive things about your life . . .

I know that was a huge lesson for me too!  I went to a Heart Centered Networking group hosted by Linda Burhans and Diane Marie Billman.  I will be always be grateful for that time in my life and they both touched me profoundly.  We had to say what we were grateful for and really could not think of a thing that is how stuck I was.  How is that possible if you asked me that ten years prior I had so many things but now was not greateful at all!

The brought such perspective back to life for me.  I was grateful for a roof over my head, legs that got me out of bed, running water, a car, a motorcycle, and the list goes one.   We walk in dangerous territory when we become lost, depressed, and stuck in our own SHIT.  Yes I said SHIT because that is all it is just junk that needs to be acknowledged, released, and let go.

So my dear friends if you want more information go to www.PowerWithinInstitute.com but upon my return from my motorcycle journey I will be launching TheHealerOnAHarley.com website and you will hear fristhand how one of many healing processes will set you free.  There are many and I embrace them all because they all work . . .

Back to motorcycle journey my friend . . .

Well my friend I have an energy device that reads how stress affects the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual body that will blow you away!  So enough said and if you want more information I have a little website you can check out but you have to do a session and if you are honest with yourself the information will set you free and you can live the life you were meant to be!    Thank you Dan Millman for that book too!  “Live the Life You Were Born to Live” yes check that out too and tell me if the shoe fits ha ha . . .

So Heather dug her session and wanted to do another on Wednesday but had to hit the bricks because I was meeting Byron and we were going to ride for the day and into the evening.  Yeah could not wait to get back on my motorcycle.  So off we went . . .

We did one of the Canyons and hit PCH and Byron took me through Bellaire, Brentwood, Hollywood and such.  We even rode down some of the neighborhood streets and was able to take some videos of the beautiful homes along the way!  Wow just gorgeous.  We went to the Hollywood sign which is when I met Rose and Alex – what a beautiful and lovely couple.  I asked Rose how long they have been together and she said 60 years – wow now that deserves a meddle for sure!

It was an overcast night so the city lights did not shine with their twinkling lights but as the sun went down a chill came back into the air so we dressed the part and flipped off a few pictures of the Hollywood sign.

Byron and I headed back and wanted to see some of the Hollywood stars on the sidewalks and had a hot chocolate to take the chill out of our bones.  A couple was walking up and was mermerized by the bikes and the gentleman put his hand on Byron’s bike.  Ha ha bad thing to do – Byron cannot stand anyone touching his bike but I could care less so said go ahead and sit on mine.  Ooppss he did not know which one was mine and he was going to straddle Byron’s ride and he freaked out and said “let me give you some motorcycle etiquette”.  I busted out laughing and said you are way too uptight my friend but he explained to the handsome man, by the way, that you do not touch anyones ride without permission.  So he then let him straddle is his so his wife could take some photos on her phone.  Then they wanted a picture or two with Byron in front of his ride so now he was cheesing.

It was time to hit the road and head home was tierd and needed to get a lot of things done in the morning to get ready to hit the happy trail once again on Thursday so off we went and jumped on the 101.  Byron hates the highway at night but my wrists could not handle stop and go traffice all the way back to Sherman Oaks so pursuaded him to hit the highway and in 15 minutes we were at my hotel for the evening.  Of course Byron was hungry again so we ordered a pizza before they closed which have to say was awesome and said our goodbyes.

I have another session with Heather in the morning and was going to meet Dave again to ride so could not wait to see where he would take me today.  Somewhere local of course but all that mattered is that I had someone to play with and take me around town.

Yeah it was a glorious day until tomorrow my friend . . .   One Bad B . . .

Monday, April 4, 2011, Riding the Canyons with Dave from the V-Rod Forum.

My good friend and favorite mechanic from Florida, Jimmy Greco, hooked me up with his idol Dave Cannizzaro from California.  I guess Dave is a bit of a celebrity in the V-Rod Forum and is a pistol too.  So Jimmy reached out for me and asked him if he would tour me around some great places in California to ride while I was in town.

Dave sent me a text on Sunday to ride but had the conference and was not available until Monday so we made a plan to meet at Starbucks close to the Marriott in Woodland Hills.  I had no idea where we were off to but did not care.  I had no idea where to ride just knew I wanted to be on my bike once again.  So Dave was a bit late and was catching up with my phone messages so all was well.  Dave came in with a glittery helmet and I figured out that was him so I waved and we were then introduced.  Dave got himself a coffee to get his day started.  You see I do not drink coffee yuck so had my water and waited patiently for us to hit the road.

Wow did he take me for a ride!  We did almost every Canyon that was around the area and the scenery was outstanding.  OMG I could not take my eyes off my surroundings and at one point the road curved and my crash bar peg hit the dividing railing from life and death.  Holy shit batman is all I can say.  That was the last time I took my eyes off the road and did about 15 miles per hour as poor Dave had to wait at each stop sign for me to catch up.   There was no way I was going to whip through those roads not knowing them and my wrists were killing me from all the abuse the last two weeks for sure.  I could barley clutch and my right hand would go numb from the vibration – yikes my poor thumbs and wrists.  However I was the one riding the big hog and he had his little V-Rod he he but fun was had by all I hope.

I was having a rough day and needed some help from a friend so Jimmy as usual helped me out and found me a hotel in Sherman Oaks.  Money was running low and was waiting for some money to hit my account which had not happened yet!  Thanks again Jimmy.

So after the Canyons Dave took me to the two places Jimmy told me I had to check out the Rock Store which was closed but got some great photos of and Neptunes Net for lunch for some great fried fish and chips.   After lunch we walked across to Malibu Beach and witnessed the surfers hitting the waves.  It was such a beautiful day and was able to get some great photos I hope to share with you soon to complete my stories.  Please note all photos are on my facebook page for your viewing pleasure at JoycePellegrini too!

Then Dave and I jumped on our bikes and went up PCH and did one last Canyon.  By the end of the day I was exhausted and had a hard time keeping up but hung in there and Dave returned me to the Starbucks in which we started.  We said our goodbyes and decided we would ride again tomorrow.

So more details tomorrow my friend . . .

Thursday, March 3rd – April 3, 2011 – What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas . . . ha ha ha!

Well Thursday, March 31, 2011,  I planned on leaving at 1 p.m. because I was going to  make a detour to Las Vegas to meet with Nadine Lajoie who wrote a chapter in the Diaries A – Z.   Nadine races sport bikes and so excited I was going to see her in action.

Well my sample packaged and inventory was not ready until after 4 p.m. so was pissed and stressed out especially when I found out that I left my phone at Rose’s house.  I should of hopped on the bike to clear my head and got it but was tierd and hung out with the gang and thank goodness Elizabeth went and got it for me.  What a blessing she is!   I get really frustrated with lack of time management so I was feeling a bit violated that my time was not respected?

I was bound and determined to make it to Vegas and should of left at 1 pm like planned as my intuition told me but waited and got stuck in traffic at 5 pm doing 25 mph out of Arizona – I was not happy but had to go with the flow.  Once I was clipping along I just settled in and had to call my girl and tell her to go to dinner without me and would get there as soon as I could.  Nadine was do her test trials on Friday so she wanted to play a little bit – until midnight so I thought all was well.  ARGH!

I missed my 60 turnoff so got off the highway to gas up and check out my map and a fine brother, of course, had to stop me and make a comment about my sex appeal.  Well I had a pretty revealing top on and was feeling fit so strutted my stuff into the gas station and everyone looked at me like who is the biker chic . . .  ha ha!  So the nice gentlemen gave me directions on how to catch 60 but was not sure so asked someone else and he and his wife told me to get back on the highway for 5 – 6 miles and would hit 60 – damn I hate getting lost but had to laugh saw 60 but flew passed it thinking it was going to be a big highway sign it was this little marker on an exit with another name.   All good!   I was told by both men that it would take me about 4 hours to get to Vegas – damn I was going to get in late like midnight if I was lucky.

As I drove I reflected on my stressful week and a new small company.  Was I ready to get involved or just do my thing and decided to just do my own thing with the line as I continue to build my own brand.  I am an expert at start up businesses and know I can kick it through the park but at what cost.  Again the Universe is testing me on helping someone else or myself.  I have to pick myself the decision has been made.  Anyway back to the trip . . .

OMG the sunset over the mountains was spectacular the pictures do it no justice.  I was the only motorcycle on the road let alone another vehicle.  Then I thought I am One Bad Bitch for venturing across the desert by myself in total darkness.  So I set my cruise and barreled at 70 – 80 m.p.h. and prayed that no animal would venture in my path – were there desert animals I HOPE NOT.  Ha Ha . . .

About 250 miles into the journey trucks and cars finally appeared.  I was starving by this time only had a ham sandwich in the booth so I went through a small little town and of course all there was to eat was a McDonalds argh so got a grilled chicken sandwich and ate just the meat and craved salt so had some fries there were damn good too!  Jumped on my moto and headed out hoping I was almost there.

Everywhere I stopped people would check out my license plate and asked if I was riding by myself.  I usually do not have idle chit chat but I found that was another shift that I had – the gift of gab and shared my adventure with everyone that wanted to listen – that is not me at all but digging my independence and marketing myself and business to anyone who would listen yahoooooooooooo took me long enough to get there hey!  For those who really know me this has been an issue of mine for awhile stepping up on faith and believing I can do anything.  Thank you Joel Bauer your class unleashed the beast in me once again.  Yeah!

I thought “what is the big deal” I have driven cross country by myself in a car so why is it so different on a motorcycle. . .     I know now that I was meant to do my touring business and cannot wait to plan out my tours for the balance of the calendar year immediately upon my return.

Well it was a long ride but started to see the Vegas lights what an amazing sight.  I wish the camera would have picked up the energy of seeing this from so far away but now I was getting closer to my target.  I got a room for $35 at Circus Circus yikes all those kids but knew I was only going to sleep for 5 hours and hit the race track to see Nadine at 9 am so did not have much time to play in Vegas . . .  so I thought!

Well my girl was waitinig for me at Harrahs and decided do I get all primped up for what so brushed my teeth, washed my face, and dropped my bags and jumped in a cab to Harrahs.  It was less than a mile away and the cab took the long route and $20 later.  I was not happy and told him he was not a nice person taking advantage of me but oh well I guess that is how they make their living.  I was so ready for a martini so texted Nadine I was in the door area of the dueling piano bar and she stood up and waved her hand and went to the back of the establishment.  She looked just like her pictures but just a little thing and met her friend Sean.  He was visiting from Toronto and the piano dueling was awesome.  They were playing some oldies but goodies and after my second martini Nadine and I started to dance to the music.

Well we had another drink and the bar closed and now it was 2 a.m. yikes – and once I get started there was no way I could go to bed after that many drinks without dancing them off so we went into the disco.  I thought Nadine and Sean were following me but off I went to the dance floor in front and began to dance to let off some steam and within minutes this big burly man was in front of me and now I had a dance partner.   Ha Ha that how we roll in Vegas I see so dance I did.  Well all I can say is what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and thanks Chi Town Mike for a great night out on the town.  Hope to see you in Chicago in July – if not – NEXT he he!

Wow did I not feel the love in the morning.  Tried to eat breakfast but my head was pounding and Nadine and Sean were a bit hung over too!  I went back to my room called the bell man to move my 5 bags argh and back on the road again.  Now I had to find the race track and be out in the hot burning sun to see  my girl race.   I was not going to miss this for a minute and felt bad that I was running late.

Of course did  not read my text from her nor did I understand so followed the signs for the speedway and bought a ticket and called Nadine.  She asked me where I was at and found out I was at the wrong track.  Dang it!

So figured out where to go and they let me in too so saved myself $2o.  Thanks girl!  Nadine was resting getting ready to do her next 20 minutes of racing and watched her put on her heavy gear and mount her motorcycle.  I was amazed at how fast they went flying around that track and how she took those corners – hell no – I do not think I have the balls to do that but Nadine loves it so.  I got to see her go around the track twice for 20 minutes then had to say our goodbyes and hit the happy trail to California.

My Fly Girl, Rita Brooks, was having her Grand Opening for West Coast Weaves so promised I would show up at her Salon that evening to say HELLO.  I was now heading to Joel Bauer’s Passion2Profit event and would sneak out so I could participate with my girls GRAND OPENING.  I was late, of course got lost and ended up in Malibu but all good flipped off a few pictures and got there at 6:30 pm to take plenty of pictures.

When I got there on Friday night I had to video tape it because there was no way that girl was opening the next day.  Rita had the local radio station coming and could not believe what shape that place was in – no way in hell was it going to be ready.  Her contractor, Alex, swore he would work all night and so they did.  It is not finished but was in opening condition and the event was very successful.

I hung out with her until 9 pm and had to make my way back home and did not get lost yeah!  I had to get up early again for a long day with Joel Bauer on Sunday morning so jumped into bed and was ready to rock and roll the next day.

Sunday I was asked to speak in front of the participants to give a testimonial of Joel Bauer’s work and loved sharing my experiences along the way.  You see it was not until I met Joel in September at the Winners Circle in Tampa that my energy finally took a major shift in the right direction.  Joel Bauer teaches his students that if you walk in truth, authenticity, and passion you will fulfill all of your goals and dreams and enrich everyones life along the way.  His words touched my soul so deeply that I got up from my seat in tears and went to the back of the room.

I knew at that moment that he was the man I would invest my time, energy, and money to improve my life drastically.  I then went to Passion2Profit in January of 2011.  Within the first four hours I was up asking for the paperwork to take his ProfitPointMastery9 Class for speakers.  You see I always wanted to speak in front of thousands of people but never knew how or when this would happen until this very minute.  We all have something to share with the world if we so desire and now I am divinely guided to share my life experiences to help others that are willing to listen.

I wish I had someone 20 years ago that I could have had as a mentor.  Do not get me wrong I had many mentors, bosses, along the way but not someone that would actually share their words of wisdom, coach me through the rough spots, and teach me through their life lessons of enlightenment so I would not have gone through such pain along the way.  Now looking back the pain was necessary for me to get those lessons in life that touched me so profoundly.

I also have found my voice and passion to follow my motorcycle business that will also inspire women to GET OFF THE BACK SEAT AND RIDE in any part of their life.  It is not necessary to want to ride it is to take the leap of faith in yourself to do and be whoever you want to be – FULL THROTTLE.  Most women take care of everyone else but them.  Most women abuse themselves in such terrible ways and have no respect for themselves.  Most women I meet regret what they did not do or fear that they are not good enough.   Well my dear I can relate because that was me and have jumped through that fear finally and will never look back.

Please do not let me insult you if you are not that woman because I then will applaud you for living your truth on your terms.  You have been blessed and hope to know you personally so tell me your inspiring story so I can share with others not so fortunate.

I also will begin to give back and work with young female teens to inspire them to be all they can be, follow their dreams, speak their truth, and be heard so they may live their best life possible.

So thank you for listening and will post tomorrow because now it is 3 days of riding bliss in beautiful California.  Details soon . . .   Vroom Vroom

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 – First Day of West World Bike Rally!

Joan wanted to be at the show at 7 a.m. and said NO FLIPPIN WAY.  I was not going to sit there all morning when the show starts at noon so we hung out at the house and hit the road by 9ish.  We were positioned at the front corner when bikers entered the event so traffic was good but you know how shows go no one wants to spend money until they walk the show and see what all the vendors had to offer.  However, I think we were one of the favorites because everyone told us we had the best quality and looking product at this event.  One gal walked in and said “You have the best Shit here and will be back.”  Not sure if she came back but laughed and said thanks – I know.

I turned my in my product samples and inventory because Joan changed the length of the headbands and needed to carry the summer t-shirts instead of the ¾ length – even though when it gets cooler at night will still wear them.  However the stores probably will not stock them until the fall comes back around so all good.

Wednesday was a slow day but we did sell some product and everyone loved the RidersWraps line which was great to witness firsthand since I am just beginning with the product.

I have been wearing the product everyday since I left Florida and it is very comfortable.  Also it is great to wear the head gear because I hate helmet head and the product rocks when I take my helmet off.  Yes I am vain just like everyone else and even wore makeup everyday so I looked good.  Ha Ha!  I did get rid of the helmet in Arizona since it is a no helmet state yeah that felt awesome for the few days I rode.

Until tomorrow my friend . . .

Tuesday, March 29, 2011, Setting up the Booth at West World . . .

We had Elizabeth, Crissy, Crystal, and I available to set up the booth and we all worked well together. I was able to use my design and space planning skills to lay out our floor plan the night before so it made the set up task easy. I forgot how labor intensive it was to build a booth. We were quite pleased with our final results and made slight changes along the way. So the booth set up went really well. Joan was able to go back to her mother’s home which was home base while we were in Arizona.

A big thank you to Rose for letting us destroy her house – not really – but they had stuff everywhere. It was great being able to meet and bond with the team who I came to adore. A continuing lesson in truth was communication! It was definitely apparent that we all needed additional work in effective communication. Back in the day I ran my organization like a drill sergeant with a heart! I would never ask anyone to do what I wouldn’t do so I always got the utmost respect from my team. I do not know if this work ethic came from working with attorneys for many years or my innate ability but it does come in handy being a hard worker and starting businesses from the bottom up. However, one bad thing by being on the road my eating habits have been crap.

Since I do not eat fast food I was lucky to be able to buy good water and do my protein drinks in my shaker glass so I could have at least two drinks a day and one meal of my choice. I do not think I have had more than 800 calories a day – not good but have lost weight so happy about that – whatever it takes ha ha! I do miss working out but at the end of the day and doing 600 – 800 miles a day on the road is all the workout I need at this time.

Chat with you tomorrow my friend . . . One Bad B . . .

Monday 3-28-11 Free Day . . .

I had a great night sleep when I finally was able to relax and stop my feet from throbbing ~ argh!  Wow it has been a long time since I worked a show and had to perform from 5 a.m. til 9 p.m. and do not miss it either.  Ha ha – I do not think the bike shows are in my immediate future but needed to train and learn the line so that absolutely happened.

Today I was able to enjoy the pool for an hour and then went to a birthday lunch for Joan’s mother Rose, who is celebrating her 86 young years.  She is a very beautiful woman and aging very well.  I am sure she will be glad when she regains her house back but she is really assisting her daughter’s business which is awesome support.  I was able to capture many family photos with Rose’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren truly beautiful.

Today at the pool I reflected how I have stepped into my new roll as a business owner and things are moving at light speed.  My on line store is being created as we speak by my webmaster Gayla Kilbride.  You bless me with your friendship and talent girl and cannot wait to see what you create for me.  I need to have 2 – 3 full days to complete my website and insert my video I made 3 weeks ago, add my tour calendar and boot camp dates, and will finally be ready do launch full throttle.

The Motorcycle Diaries A – Z is ready to be formatted but need to put my funds together to pay for those services.  Thank you Cathy Lees for your patience with me completing GET OFF THE BACK SEAT AND RIDE!   When I return we will work on the next two book Series that are in the making.

Thank you to Courtney Porter Di Salvo who is creating my cover and was able to capture my thoughts.  She is so talented and brings her magical creative thoughts for the perfect cover – I am so excited.  Thank you to baby Darby, her daughter, who rocked on the opening video she is my biker baby in training for sure!

I am now doing a biofeedback session on my mom who cannot stop scratching and cannot figure  out why – I would say food allergies but will hook her up and assist in her healing process.  I will never leave home without my biofeedback system again and will also add to my site.  Watch for TheHealerOnAHarley (T-HOAH) tab on my website for further information.  If you are curious, like most people are, visit www.PowerWithinInstitute.com for more information on stress management and natural healing which is another passion that is near and dear to me.

Well I am going to sign off for now.  I need to space plan our booth set up for tomorrow and looking forward to using my design skills once again.

Enjoy your week ~ keep the rubber on the road and chat with you tomorrow.
